Ali Oladele
HI, I'm
a Registered Psychologist, through the College of Alberta Psychologists, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and an EMDR clinician. I strive to provide a therapeutic environment where you can share your story. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to make the changes you want to see in your life with approaches such as trauma theories, attachment theories, parts work, and mindfulness.

In addition to my Masters of Counselling, I have completed training in Somatic Experiencing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Existential Therapy, Mindfulness CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, as well as courses through the Couples Institute and other various trainings. I believe that these modalities enable us to explore our inner experiences, increase awareness, process the past, and heal the nervous system so that we can move forward toward a more satisfying life.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss (including miscarriage and infant loss), disordered eating, relationship issues, parenting, maternal mental health, and life transitions. My professional and personal experiences inform my practice and have provided me with the opportunity to connect with and support others in these areas.

I have experience working with children, youth, and adults, including individuals, couples, and families. I have previously worked in various programs for non-for profit organizations.
